AD&D Insurance pays a benefit to your beneficiary in the event of accidental death. It also pays a specified percentage of the full benefit amount if a covered accident results in certain losses. Coverage is worldwide, and you may obtain coverage for your spouse or domestic partner and dependent children, as well as for yourself. This coverage protects you 24 hours per day, 365 days per year – even while flying on commercial airlines.

Eligibility
- Physicians and attorneys under age 65 may obtain up to $500,000 of Accidental Death Benefit.
- Employees of the City of Buffalo and County of Erie may obtain up to $500,000 of Accidental Death Benefit, unless employed in certain hazardous occupations, in which case $25,000 of coverage is available.
