Accounts Receivable Representative

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to add to our dynamic team. 

Qualifications

  • Ability to multi-task
  • Some accounting/bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Experience with EPIC/Applied Systems a plus
  • Experience with accounting software helpful
  • Team Player with positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An earnest desire to provide customers with high quality customer service

Responsibilities

  • Assistance with financial reporting
  • Updating our contact management system with current documentation
  • Processing insurance premium payments received
  • Balancing payroll deduction premium received against billing statements
  • Providing a high level of customer service
  • Reception desk coverage for a few hours per week

Field Sales Representative (Outside Sales)

This full-time position includes insurance sales to professionals withing NYS.

Qualifications

  • College Degree Preferred
  • Past employment success in a sales position desirable
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

  • A true desire to assist people in obtaining the insurance products that meet their needs
  • Willingness to travel within New York State

Primary job tasks include

  • Personal insurance sales to professionals within New York State
  • Outgoing & incoming phone calls to existing and prospective customers
  • Weekly sales meetings

Insurance Licensing Details

If not licensed already, applicant will need to become a licensed Agent in Life, Accident and Health Lines as well as licensing for Personal and Commercial Lines in the future. Agency will pay for class and exam fees. All other training provided.

Note - The agency reimburses all sales expenses and provides administrative support

Customer Sales Representative (Inside Sales)

This full-time position includes sales and service of exclusive Professional Association endorsed programs. Sales leads are provided.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word
  • Thorough documentation skills 
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize is essential

Primary job tasks include

  • Sale of life and disability insurance products to members of the associations we serve
  • Set up appointments for new business and review of existing coverage
  • Outgoing phone calls to follow up on mailing campaigns
  • Weekly sales meetings

Insurance Licensing Details
